1. Drink Water!
Spice it up and add a lemon, cucumber, some ice, or just drink it straight up. It gets your metabolism up and it’s essential since your body relies on water to keep your digestive system running smoothly. Our bodies get dehydrated overnight (especially with late night trips to the bathroom and such) so we need to replenish what was lost when we first wake up.
Meditating in the morning can be a great way to help you think more clearly and effectively. Our brains in the morning are spinning with the list of things the day will bring. Meditating is perfect to stop for a second, realize your priorities, and get organized. Take some time for yourself in the morning to just sit for 5 minutes and meditate and you’ll see amazing results.
If you exercise in the morning it’ll for sure wake you up and you’ll already feel productive. Exercise releases endorphins, which are chemicals produced in the brain that are essentially natural painkillers. Endorphins help reduce stress as well, which are perfect for when the rest of your day is packed and you need all the energy you can get.
4. Eat Breakfast
Food = energy, simple as that. If you eat breakfast in the morning you’ll have more energy for the day. Your body’s metabolism works better in the morning so eating a big, nutrient-packed meal will yield the best results for you.
5. Plan Ahead
Plan your outfit, your morning routine, your bag for the day, anything that you can get done the night before… do it! This way, when you wake up in the morning you’ll have less to worry about.
